Bailing Time
Bailing Time, Acrylic on watercolor paper.
This photograph was taken after our neighbor's field was bailed. The equipment used included a 50 year old bailing machine that would eject the bails in a somewhat random pattern. They reminded me of an old graveyard, or Stonehenge, because of the lighting and shadows of the mid day Sun.
So I got this idea to paint the scene as if the bails were flying. The pattern depicted in the two paintings shows bails tumbling in from the left, skipping across the field and then flying off up and to the right.
The two paintings are called "Bailing Time".
A slideshow follows below of some more photos that inspired the background. Also details from each of the paintings are shown.

We Kids Three
This picture of three Goldfinches I painted as a memorial to my brother and sister.
Sherri passed away 4-29-2019, Chuck passed away 5-1-2005.
Sherri is the one on the left. Chuck the one on the right.
They have their backs turned because they have already gone.
I am the remaining kid in the center, facing the viewer. this is because I am the only one left of us three
This is is the story of " We Kids Three".
