Welcome to my website.
Thank you for visiting.
The idea for this website was suggested by a good friend of mine.
I wish to thank him first and say,
" Thanks Jim, I could not have done it without you!"
History
I can remember making my first sketch at around 5 years old of an elephant in
one of my coloring books. I showed it to my mom and she asked me to show
her the coloring book. Sure enough, the sketch had not been traced. I have
been sketching, painting, designing, and building ever since.
Most of what appears in the website has been produced since 1978. Every few
years, I get into a mood that says "Go make something happen with color and
optimism!". Occasionally I get to do something in conjunction with my full time
engineering practice, which is my regular job. These are particularly exciting
times and are very productive.
Last February, I set aside some time to photograph all the works that I have
accumulated over the years. I took all of February and the first part of April to
complete the task, roughly 4 weeks. I'm still locating pieces that are in private
collections or places I forgot to look. I will endeavor to get it all done
someday. Until then it just keeps getting more fun.
What follows below is a newspaper article that was published in the Gresham
Outlook, in February of 2012. I was fortunate enough to have an exhibit in the
Sandy Visitor's Center and the article is the only review I've ever had. Thank
you Jim Hart for the kind words.
