Welcome to my website. This website is a detailed summary of the artwork of Phil Wells.  The saw seen above was painted in 2016 and currently can be seen on display at the Boring Damascus Post Office.

Here is another saw that I painted in 1985.  It currently is on permanent display at our friend's Jack and Cindy house.  The skyline comes from some pictures taken at Greyhound Ridge in what is now called the Frank Church Wilderness Area.  The saw was found in an old mining camp that was active in the 1880's.  Some detail shots follow below..........
